We have put our money where our mouth is and we have invested in biodegradable packaging to move forward with this movement and help reduce plastic packaging. It could have been more ideal to have started observation when the weather was a little warmer to speed things up and help with the collapse, but here it is and we are excited to see the process. We offer the plastic lips balm tube as a recharge option. Our recharge tube test promotes Valley Mist in the same sand as most of the other lip balms. The ecological and biodegradable lips balm dispensers are what we are excited about. We made many attempts to generate biodegradable packaging here in the UK.. but we couldn't find a manufacturer that could produce a durable and practical dispenser. It is a difficult and costly product to do and the only option left open to us if we wanted to follow the ecological lips balm packaging route was to import from abroad. It was important for us to offer a green option and to make this a viable option for the British buyer. With the impulse behind this product we hope to recount the UK manufacturers who showed interest and get a British-made biodegradable lips balm dispenser. Our efforts will not stop there, once there is enough purchasing power behind this product we can push for other beauty products to be hosted in non-plastic biodegradable containers as well.
